Our real estate practice concentrates on matters involving simple and complex residential and commercial purchase and sale transactions and related contract preparation and financing arrangements; litigation matters involving real estate; advising clients on matters related to residential and commercial foreclosures; title examinations; real estate development; construction issues; small business concerns; and interests in natural gas and oil (marcellus shale), timber, coal, and other mineral properties. Several of our real estate attorneys are also licensed with the West Virginia Insurance Commissioner as title agents and are authorized to issue title insurance policies.
