Wheeling, WV Federal Courthouse

Wheeling – the original capital of the State of West Virginia – is home to a Federal Building and United States Courthouse.  This building houses:

• The United States District Court, Northern District of West Virginia (also with courts in Clarksburg, Elkins, and Martinsburg)
• The United States Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of West Virginia (also with an office in Clarksburg)
• The Office of the Federal Public Defender for the Northern District of West Virginia (also with offices in Clarksburg and Martinsburg)

The Federal Courthouse is located at 1125 Chapline Street, Wheeling, WV 26003, which also contains a Post Office.
